E-claims integration for clinics in the UAE

Doctorna connects your clinic to the relevant government insurance system for e-claims, so claims are prepared from the visit and submitted electronically from the same system your team already uses.

What Doctorna does and what it does not do

This point is important, so we state it plainly.

Not an insurer

Doctorna is not a health insurance provider. Doctorna does not sell, issue or manage health insurance, and it does not provide insurance coverage to patients.

  • Issue insurance
  • Manage insurance
  • Coverage to patients
Software for clinicsDoctorna

Doctorna is software for clinics. Our system integrates with the relevant government insurance system to support the e-claims process. It helps your clinic submit and track claims electronically. Coverage, approvals and payments remain decisions and processes of the insurer and the government system.

What is e-claims integration?

E-claims is the electronic submission of insurance claims from a healthcare provider to the relevant government platform, replacing paper forms and manual re-entry. An e-claims integration means your clinic software is connected to that platform, so the claim can move directly from your system to the government system without being retyped.

Integration is a connection, not a replacement for the insurer. The insurer still decides what is covered, and your clinic is still responsible for the accuracy of what it submits. The integration makes the submission faster and cleaner.

The problems with manual claims

  1. 01

The same patient and visit details are typed more than once.

  2. 02

Small errors cause rejections, and each rejection costs time and delays payment.

  3. 03

Staff cannot easily see which claims are submitted, pending or rejected.

  4. 04

Follow-up depends on one person’s memory or a spreadsheet.

  5. 05

Revenue is delayed because claims are sent late.

What your clinic gains

Less retyping: the claim starts from the visit record, so details are entered once.

Fewer avoidable rejections: consistent data reduces the small errors that cause rejections.

Visible status: see which claims are submitted, pending, rejected or paid.

Faster follow-up: corrections can be made and claims resubmitted without starting over.

Better cash flow: claims leave your clinic sooner and are easier to chase.

Built for the front desk and the finance team

Reception can record insured visits in the normal flow of work. The billing or finance team gets a clear view of claims and their status, so they spend their time resolving problems, not searching for them. Managers can see how many claims are outstanding without asking around.

Connected to the rest of Doctorna

Because e-claims sits alongside appointments, patient records and communication, the information needed for a claim is already in one place. Patients booked through WhatsApp or other channels, seen by the doctor and billed through insurance follow one continuous record.

Works across branches

Clinic groups can manage claims from every branch in one system, with the same process at each location and one view of what is outstanding across the group.

Other integrations

Doctorna also connects with the channels and tools around your clinic, so information moves between systems instead of being copied by hand. Ask us about the specific systems you use and we will confirm what is supported.
